Echocardiography is a heart ultrasound where a specialist can see how the patient's heart function in real time. Therefore it is important that all specialists who are involved in the management of emergency and critically ill patients to posses echocardiography skills to allow a thorough assessment and management of their patients. This skill can be seen as a superpower eyes of a specialist which can see through the skin and bones of a patient. In modern medical practice these days, echocardiography and ultrasound is an extension of physical examination by doctors and specialists who deals with severely ill patients.
